In the work All Photography Studios (Tous les Studios Photographiques), the photographic medium as a means of representation is reconnected to the phenomenon of local photography studios (or ateliers), where since the 1840s the concept of a photographic image was conceived, the physical photograph was produced, and subsequently reproduced. Today, as the image production cycle is increasingly diversified, outsourced and images are often (un)consciously manipulated along the production, it may become essential to reflect on how the photographic process influences the image itself. This raises critical questions about the ethics of photographic (re)production and distribution.
