The studio announces the commencement of The Perfect Curve (2025–), a research-driven photographic project rooted in anthropological fieldwork with everyday drivers and commuters. Participants were invited to narrate specific road situations that had triggered lasting emotional impressions — moments of reflection, recognition, or disorientation experienced in the course of routine mobility. These accounts were then reenacted. Because the participants recalled these moments with the structured clarity of cinematic memory — their recollections often resembling film scripts — the works are presented as imaginary film stills complete with subtitles. The Perfect Curve continues the studio's sustained inquiry into how ordinary infrastructure generates extraordinary interiority, and how personal topographies of movement participate in the broader construction of the homo politicus in contemporary Germany.
The first work is available on the studio website.
